electronic notebook sometimes have some difficulties getting major popularity.

However, there is one thing that digitization may help where conventional notetaking could not.

In classes, in particular engineering related subjects, where structured thinking as well as equation stepwise organization would really benefit from a CVS integrated digital notebook.

We find in classes when professors are doing the work, it is easy to follow. Not just because we might not yet find out where was wrong. sometimes the step wise helps. But in conventional note taking, it is difficult to show the step wise. Everything is on the same paper.

With CVS digital notebook, this stepwise showing of each line each annotation can be documented and shown later on to help students understand how equations or logic were taken through.
