Use for research documentation.

As pencil can be easily removed by eraser and is not recommended in general for research record.
However, either water based pigment or oil based pigment, are extremely prone to ethanol or organic solvent damage.

A new hybrid pen doped with either water based pigment or oil based pigment as well as doping of graphite could be used for research record.

Either solvent damage or eraser damage should only destroy a single layer of the document.
